JUDY DIPPOLD
Judy’s tireless work on behalf of the St. Louis tennis community came in numerous roles over a period of more than 50 years. She managed indoor clubs in addition to the Dwight Davis Center. She served as tournament director on the local, sectional, collegiate and national level, including the National Public Parks. Judy held several roles at the St. Louis District, including president and executive director. Her many awards included the USTA’s 2016 Blue Ribbon Award as one of the top three tournament directors for juniors in the nation.

BRUCE FOXWORTH
Bruce was a state high school singles champion at Principia and an NCAA Division II doubles champion at Hampton University. Bruce progressed to the ATP Tour, achieved a career-high world ranking of 92 and competed in the main draws of the French Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open. Later, as a coach, his players included Lori McNeil. In 1992 he suffered a spinal cord injury in a car accident. Despite the resulting disability, Bruce continued to teach and coach for many years as junior director at the Los Angeles Tennis Club.

JACK LEVITT
Jack made a major impact on St. Louis tennis as a promoter, organizer, tournament director and co-founder of the St. Louis Aces of World TeamTennis. Previously a professional baseball player, he worked in the NBA and founded the Mizzou-Illinois basketball series in St. Louis before turning his attention to tennis in the 1970s, when he brought a WTT event to the Checkerdome, followed by men’s and women’s pro tournaments in the ’80s. Jack ran the Aces from 1994 to 2005, a period that included a WTT championship in 1996.

TOM O’NEAL
Tom managed many facets of St. Louis tennis, including the founding of the St. Louis Tennis Hall of Fame and co-founding the St. Louis Aces of World TeamTennis. He was president for 10 years of the Triple A Youth Foundation, which supported junior tennis programs; president of the Triple A Club, where he orchestrated a major rejuvenation of the facility; and a St. Louis Sports Commission member. Tom’s Hall of Fame Festivals brought many tennis greats to St. Louis, such as Rod Laver, Arthur Ashe, Billie Jean King and Pancho Gonzalez.

MARK PLATT
Through his Beginner’s World Tennis, Mark introduced thousands of players to the game. He attracted new students with an innovative format of tennis parties and team tennis leagues, along with community-based lessons and special events. Mark also established leagues in several area school districts. His work was recognized by the USTA with the Eve Kraft Community Service Award in 2004 and the Janet Louer USTA Junior Team Tennis National Organizer of the Year Award in 2018. Mark also received a Tennis magazine Top 5 Teachers USA award.
