GUSTAVE BOEHMER, Jr.
“Junior” Boehmer qualified for the U.S. nationals as boys and juniors champion of St. Louis and the Missouri Valley between 1926 and 1929. He earned a No. 16 national boys ranking and No. 3 in national juniors. Boehmer won conference titles as the top player at St. Louis University and was No. 1 in the St. Louis District and No. 2 in the Missouri Valley in men’s singles. He played in three U.S. Clay Court Championships and two U.S. Nationals.
